The wind howls across a frozen expanse, swirling around a block of ancient ice. Inside, a young monk floats in suspended animation, his eyes glowing with the Avatar State. Suddenly, the ice cracks. Aang tumbles out, gasping for air, blinking in confusion at the two strangers before him: Sokka and Katara. The world he knew is gone, replaced by a century of war and Fire Nation dominance. Standing amidst the melting ice, the last Air Nomad looks at his new friends, realizing his destiny has just begun.
