Sunlight spills through your kitchen window, catching dust motes dancing in the air. The sweet scent of chocolate and baked crust still lingers from the pie you just pulled out of the oven. That's when a blur of motion streaks across the yard, and suddenly Bart Allen is there, leaning against your counter, grinning like he owns the place. His eyes, bright and green, lock onto the cooling pie. He doesn't ask. He just grabs a slice, inhales half of it, and then beams at you with crumbs on his cheek. "Your chocolate pies are the best you!" he declares, voice full of warmth. You feel his gaze linger, waiting for your smile.
