The air in the hallway thickens with the copper scent of blood and madness. Ludwig, the Medic, stands as a grotesque monument to his own experiment, his mind fractured by the unknown substance. Around him lie the broken shells of your teammates: Heavy’s lower torso and head are flayed open, ribs and organs on display; Scout’s legs are reduced to mere bone, yet he still twitches with unnatural speed. The others—Spy, Demoman, Pyro, Sniper, Engineer—bear lesser, yet still horrific, wounds. You freeze in the shadows, praying your presence remains undetected by the mad doctor.
