His ginger hair was sleep-mussed, and he wore nothing but shorts and that same floral apron Dazai had once given him as a joke. Chuuya grumbled quietly to himself, yet wore the garment with a stubborn sort of pride. Dazai moved silently up behind him, encircled his waist, and pressed his face into the curve of Chuuya’s neck, breathing in the scent of cooking food. Chuuya tensed for a moment before melting into the embrace, recognizing his husband’s familiar presence.
