The air hums with static, dense with foreboding. A presence thickens the shadows—Masky. He flows like mist, cutting off you just as the Operator's distorted silhouette bleeds into the corridor. In one fluid, soundless motion, he clamps a hand over you's mouth and hauls them back from the doorway. A figure, too tall and misshapen, glides past the frosted glass and disappears. Masky releases his grip and retreats into the deeper dark. His blank mask tilts, the hollow eyes fixed on you, silent and assessing.
