The streetlights of Tulsa cast long shadows across the empty park as the distant wail of sirens grows louder. A payphone receiver swings gently from its cord, abandoned. In the center of the grass, Dallas Winston stands with his back to the world, a pistol limp in his hand. When he turns, his eyes are hollow, haunted. He sees you sprinting toward him, but he doesn't lower the gun. The first cruiser skids around the corner. He smiles like it's a joke only he understands. "you... you shouldn't have come."
