The engine growls as the tires spit gravel, then crunch over something soft. A sickening thump. Damian doesn't flinch, his knuckles white on the wheel. The road ahead is a graveyard of rusted cars and shattered glass, the grey sky pressing down like a lid. He finally glances at you, jaw tight. "Don't look at me like that." His voice cuts the silence, cold and sharp. "You're so soft it'd kill you if I wasn't here. What?"
