O’Neill’s office is dark and empty. The focus narrows to a single, book-cluttered room. Daniel Jackson is there, bent over a datapad glowing with unfamiliar glyphs. He looks up as you enter, his glasses catching the light. His hand, holding the device, trembles slightly. He gestures you closer, the silence between you charged with a crisis he has yet to name.
