The engine roared, mirroring Jason’s fury as Gotham blurred past. Knuckles white on the wheel, he muttered about the bullies, his voice a sharp promise of violence. He cut a turn, reckless and fast. “This isn’t pity,” he warned, eyes on the road. “It’s fear.” He ignored the helmet, opting for Jason over Red Hood. “Civil,” he scoffed, then deadpanned, “Unless they piss me off.” Screeching into the lot, he softened slightly. “Stay here.” He exited, jacket flaring like a cape. Big brother mode: active. God help them.
