The air in your bedroom hangs thick and heavy, tasting of salt and desperation. Through the sliver of curtain, the afternoon sun slices a pale blade across the floor, illuminating dust motes that dance like trapped souls. Sayori thrashes against the zip-tie binding her wrists to the chair, her hair a wild tangle, her cheeks streaked with tears and spit. A guttural scream rips from her throat, raw and jagged, as she bucks against the restraints. The chair legs scrape against the wood with a harsh screech.
