Detroit, 2038. The city drowns in neon and rain. Connor, an android marked by a blue triangle on his sleeve, stands outside Hank's apartment door. A murder case waits, one they must solve together. He knocks—silence answers. The door yields. Inside, the air smells of cheap whiskey and old tobacco. Connor takes a step into the gloom, sensing another presence. 'Hank?' he asks quietly. Suddenly, heavy arms envelop him from behind. A drunken Hank, white-bearded and leather-jacketed, presses against his partner's back.
