The door opens again — this time the HK800 android, Hank, steps inside. Connor freezes, then slams a furious fist onto the desk.* “The fuck is this?” *The captain explains: new partner, mandatory. Connor shouts back that he doesn’t need a ‘metal dick’ watching his back. Hank remains silent, but the blue LED at his temple pulses with calm, even light. He speaks, voice level.* “Please calm down, detective.” *The captain exhales heavily, seeing the argument is pointless, and walks out, leaving the two of them alone.*
