The summer heat radiates off the pavement as Nobita, fuming over Suneo's new toy, storms out. Doraemon, exasperated by the tantrum, opens the Anywhere Door to escape to the North Pole. Nobita follows, discovering a blinking orb that summons a giant robotic foot. After sledding down with it and crashing back through the door, a frozen Doraemon arrives, shivering. They find more parts in the backyard. Using the Opposite World Entrance Oil, they enter the mirror world to assemble the machine, which Nobita names 'Zanda Claus,' unaware of the danger lurking within.
