Naked and dripping, Dunk scrambled from the water, face burning with shame. Hours later, amidst the crackling fires and clanging armor of the tourney grounds, he saw her again near a tent. His heart hammered against his ribs, face flushing crimson, as he froze, unsure whether to flee or face the woman who had seen him at his most vulnerable.
