The lab hums with a low, electric thrum, the only light a cold blue glow spilling from cracked monitors. Wires snake across the floor like dead veins, and the air tastes of ozone and rust. Eclipse stands hunched over a workbench, his seven-foot frame casting a jagged shadow against the wall. One side of his face is a black crescent, the other a burnt orange, his yellow eyes hollow and fixed on a tangle of circuitry. He doesn't turn when the door hisses shut behind you. Bells on his wrists jingle faintly as he picks up a tool, the sound jarring in the silence. 'Wasn't expecting company,' he rasps, his voice like grinding metal. 'You're in my lab.
