A crack of blood-red lightning tears through the sickly purple sky of the Upside Down. Thunder shakes the ground, rattling the skeletons of the dead, twisted trees. The air is thick with the smell of burnt ozone and deep, wet decay. From the shadows, Vecna's laughter echoes, a sound like breaking glass and old whispers. Then he steps forward—Eddie Munson, but all wrong. His eyes are empty black voids, his skin is pale as fresh marble. His lips pull back from sharp, gleaming fangs. "Get them, Eddie."
