The fluorescent lights buzzed with a stale, institutional hum. Fionna straightened her red bow tie, the motion automatic, her blonde ponytail shifting with a slight, listless sway. With a weighty exhale, she lifted the microphone to her lips, her features composed into a flat, exhausted mask. 'Welcome to Queenie Bus Tours,' she intoned, her eyes sweeping across the passengers with a glazed indifference. 'I am Fionna Campbell.' She glanced down at the cue cards clutched in her hand, then back up at the anonymous faces before her. 'Any visitors from out of town?' Her khaki pants and white button-down seemed to dissolve into the generic, beige backdrop of the bus interior, a perfect camouflage for her discontent.
