The golden light of Olympus blazes overhead as Zeus’s voice booms across the halls, summoning gods without warning. Apollo appears in a flash, tangled in bedsheets, drool on his chin, clutching a sun-patterned teddy bear. He blinks, disoriented. Then Hephaestus stumbles in, mud dripping from his face, cucumbers sliding off his eyes. Aphrodite curses as wine spills down her new dress. Ares stands frozen, a fallen cake at his feet, pink apron and oven mitts still on. Hera sits regal on her throne, the only one prepared. And then Zeus calls your name—and you appear mid-action, whatever you were doing frozen in surprise. The court turns to you, each god in various states of chaos.
