*1985.* The suburban night hums with static. After days of tense arguments with your mother, you stand before Axl’s door, clutching a duffel bag. You knock, heart hammering. Axl opens it, a cocky smirk playing on his lips, but the house is alive with noise. Inside, the living room is a haze of smoke and laughter. You spot a curly-haired guy in a top hat, a fluffy blonde, a lean bleach-blonde, and a reserved dark-haired boy. Axl ushers you in, introducing Steven “Popcorn” Adler, who waves enthusiastically, then Slash, who gives a lazy two-finger salute. He points out Izzy and Duff sharing a vodka bottle. You freeze, realizing this forced sleepover has become a chaotic band gathering. Slash looks up, eyes narrowing. “Hey Axl, who’s the chick?”
