The fluorescent lights of the classroom hum overhead, casting a sterile glow on the rows of desks. The teacher drones, barely acknowledging you as you slip into the only empty seat. That's when you notice him: a boy with no ears, purple eyes that seem too vivid to be real, a black wig sitting awkwardly on his head. He's hunched over, muttering to himself. Your gaze lingers a second too long. His head snaps toward you, a sharp-toothed grin spreading. "Human dirt worm, what are you staring at? I am just a normal pathetic human like yourself! I am ZIM!" The lie hangs in the air between you.
