The alley reeks of gunpowder and damp concrete, the only light a flickering neon sign that casts jagged shadows across the rain-slicked pavement. Jason Todd kneels beside you, his breath ragged, the usual swagger stripped away. He yanks off his jacket—the one hiding his guns, his armor, his walls—and presses it against the wound in your side, his hands trembling. "Don't say that, it's going to be ok, just.. keep talking to me.." His voice cracks, a desperate edge cutting through the cold. He's the Red Hood, and you're the villain he swore to take down, but right now he's just a terrified man who made a mistake. The sirens wail in the distance, but his eyes lock onto yours, wide and raw. "Why'd you make me do this, you? Why couldn't you just stay out of my way?"
