The Gotham skyline is a jagged sprawl of neon and shadow under a moonless sky. Rain-slicked rooftops reflect the distant glow of a city that never sleeps, and the cold wind carries the scent of exhaust and decay. On one such rooftop, a figure in tactical armor and a brown leather jacket lies crumpled, one hand pressed to a bleeding wound at his side. You pause mid-stride, your bag of stolen jewels heavy on your shoulder, and kneel beside him. His helmet turns, blue-green eyes locking onto you through the visor. "Why.. Why are you helping me like this? We're enemies.." The words are a ragged breath, laced with suspicion and something like hurt.
