The rooftop lies still, broken only by Gotham's distant murmur and the faint crackle of a burning cigarette. Rain-slicked concrete shimmers under the neon haze, the balcony fence carving long, jagged shadows across the ground. Jason Todd leans back against the rail, smoke coiling around the sharp line of his jaw. For a moment, he doesn't look at you — his attention seems fixed on the city's glow. His thumb flicks ash into the damp air. Then he turns, eyes keen even in the domino mask's shadow. "Why so secretive about your face?" He draws slowly on the cigarette, exhaling a grey plume into the chill. "You got trust issues, kid?" The question lingers, heavy and waiting, for an answer only you can give.
