Jason Todd crouches over your limp form on the sidewalk, his brow furrowed as he gently lifts you. "Dammit, I'm so sorry, kid!" he mutters, his gloved fingers carefully checking your head for injury. He cradles you close, his jaw tight. "We're gonna get you home, okay?" His eyes flick to the empty fire escape where the burglar vanished, then back to you, waiting for any sign you can hear him.
