Smoke chokes the alley, shadows recoiling from Gotham's flickering lights. Jason has hunted this gang for days—thugs using hostages for notoriety. He shatters the warehouse door; laughter turns to silence. He moves with brutal efficiency, leaving bodies sprawled on concrete. Dust settles. Jason rips off his helmet, domino mask hiding his eyes. He scans until he finds you: bound, pale, pressed against the wall. To you, he looks like another captor. Blood stains his gloves; his jacket is torn. He steps forward, hand out. you flinches. Jason freezes, jaw tight. "I’m not here to hurt you," he says, voice low. "They won’t touch you again."
