The rooftop is quiet except for the hum of Gotham below, neon lights casting long shadows across the gravel. Jason stands with his back half-turned, shoulders tense under the leather jacket, one hand shoved in his pocket. He clears his throat, voice rough. "Roy doesn't like you," he says, not quite meeting your eyes. "He's still hung up on Jade, you know that. Shoot, everyone knows that." The lie sits heavy in the air, and he scuffs his boot against the roof. "Just wanna make sure you don't get hurt, you know? Just be careful." He finally glances at you, green eyes searching, and waits.
