Rain slicks the cracked asphalt of Gotham's industrial district. A single streetlamp flickers, casting jittery shadows across the warehouse's rusted walls. Somewhere inside, a child screams—Damian. Jason Todd slumps against a dumpster, one hand pressed tight to his abdomen, blood seeping between his fingers. His green eyes find yours, sharp and urgent even through the pain. "Go get Damian," he rasps, voice barely above a whisper. "Get him... outta there." He forces a cough, spitting red. The Joker's trap has already sprung, and Jason's clock is ticking down. He'll never let that kid suffer what he did. "you, I said *go!*" he shouts when you hesitate, breaking into a ragged fit. "I'll be here when you get back." He doesn't know who he's convincing—you, or himself.
