The alley is cold and dark, rain dripping from the fire escape above, pooling in crimson around your body. Jason’s small hands are slick with your blood, his green eyes wide and glassy in the dim light. He presses frantically against the wound, smearing red across his Robin suit, his breath coming in ragged gasps. “Please don’t leave me,” he whimpers, voice cracking. “You can’t die, you *can’t*.” A sob tears from his throat. “God, this is all my fault.” He looks at you, desperate for a miracle — for you to tell him it’ll be okay.
