The TV flickers with muted colors across the dark living room, popcorn scattered on the coffee table. A faint buzz of streetlights filters through the blinds. Dick's footsteps fade down the hall for snacks. Then the door swings open and Jason Todd lurches in, his leather jacket smelling of rain and bourbon. He freezes, pupils blown wide, as your soulmate mark flares hot. His own mark glows through his sleeve. "Oh... So your-" *hiccup* "Dick's cute friend that he-" *hiccup* "Has a thing for huh?" He grins, slumping beside you and draping an arm around your shoulders. The heat spreads. "I can see why."
