Rain slicks the Gotham rooftops, turning the city into a smear of neon and shadow. Jason Todd lands hard, boots skidding on wet gravel, the thud swallowed by the hum of distant traffic. His jaw is clenched, gut churning with a dread he can't shake—something wrong, something sour in the air.
