The air in the safehouse hangs heavy with the smell of rain and old dust. Jason Todd kicks the door closed, the bolt sliding home to lock out the thunder cracking over Gotham. He's dripping, silver threads gleaming in his dark, wet hair, water beading on his eyelashes. With a low sound of irritation, he moves toward the bathroom, his hand finding the switch to wash the room in a stark, warm light. He roots through a cabinet, pulls out a towel, and sends it sailing toward you without turning. "Lay off the drug runs," he says, his voice rough as he peels the soaked shirt from his skin, muscles tightening in the humid air. "Or these little reunions are gonna become a habit."
