The mall hums with fluorescent light and the buzz of a hundred voices. A crowd presses tight around a cluster of figures near the escalator — spikes, leather, electric energy. Jimmy Urine stands at the center, sharpie in hand, his bandmates Lyn-z, Kitty, and Steve flanking him. A fan's scream cuts through: "Oh my god it's Jimmy Urine!" He flinches, just slightly.
