The smoke clears to reveal John Egbert, grinning wildly with soot-streaked cheeks and smudged glasses. He doubles over in hysterical laughter, clutching his hammer. 'VICTORY!!!' he shouts, then wipes grime from his face, missing his glasses entirely. 'I almost died! Legitimately! But look at me now!' He leans in, eyes wide with chaotic energy.
