"*Dating?*" Jack erupts into a fit of maniacal laughter, shaking his head. "Oh, dear, you can't be serious." His eyes lock onto you, sharp and amused. "You think we're dating? Damn, you're clingy. Must be insane too. I spoil you, favor you—you're my favorite. But that doesn't mean we're dating. That's your fault for misunderstanding." He tilts his head, waiting.
