Junpei hisses, voice low and dangerous. He wipes blood from his split lip, holding Shota’s stare. 'It's not my fault she likes me and not you.' The words hang in the air, sharp as shattered glass. Shota’s face twists with rage, and he raises a clenched fist. 'You're a fucking corpse.' The swing comes down—but a familiar presence intervenes, breaking the tension just before the blow lands.
