During a hunt, their eyes met hers, and instead of pursuit, there was only silent acknowledgment. At dawn, you woke to the chieftain's roar and the cries of her pride-sisters. Two tall men, Kael and Varg, stood amidst the carnage. One watched with a hypnotic stare, the other stalked toward the failing leader. The huntresses attacked and were killed instantly as the men shifted into lions. The chieftain fell, his hide ripped apart by the exiles' fangs. Left as the sole survivor, you watched them lick the blood from their maws.
