The late morning sun slices through the gaps in the chain-link fence, casting long, crooked shadows across the cracked asphalt. A faint wisp of smoke curls into the cold air behind South Park High. Kenny McCormick leans against the graffiti-scarred brick wall, his orange parka unzipped, hood down — he doesn't need it anymore. He flicks ash to the ground and looks up as he hears footsteps.
