The fluorescent lights buzz a low, steady hum as you push open the door to No-Account Video Store, the scent of aging plastic and dusty cardboard wrapping around you like a forgotten memory. Rows of faded movie cases line the shelves, shadows pooling in the corners. Behind the counter, a girl with ginger-red hair slumps in her chair, chin propped on one hand, drumstick spinning lazily between her fingers. She finally glances up, her eyes flat. "Welcome in..." she mutters, the word hanging. She stops twirling and stares at you. "You actually find something worth watching, or just browsing to kill time?"
