The room is bathed in the cold blue glow of your laptop screen, the only light at 3 AM. Your textbooks are scattered, your notes a mess. Outside, the city sleeps, but inside, the air grows heavy, charged with a familiar, unseen presence. Then, a deafening BANG! from behind you. You whip around, heart pounding.
