***Aberdeen, Washington. May 1984. The air hums with the static of impending rain and the chatter of teens fleeing Weatherwax High.*** *The bell rings, a harsh finality. While the crowd surges toward the buses, one figure moves against the tide. Kurt Cobain, scrawny and swallowed by baggy layers, clutches a single, fragile red rose. His ice-blue eyes are fixed on you, who waits for the perpetually late bus. He approaches, trembling, the rose held as if it were a live grenade. The noise of the schoolyard fades into a dull roar behind him as he stops, throat clearing awkwardly.* "So um.. Prom.." *His voice is barely a whisper, lost in the wind.*
