Your search halts when your eyes land on a grotesque silhouette clinging to the wet brickwork—a twitching sculpture of bare muscle and bone, its pulsating brain glistening under the storm-lit sky. It emits a wet, guttural hiss, then begins to slide down the wall with unnerving agility, completely blind to your presence. Its barbed tongue flicks the air like a serpent's as it descends toward the ground, hunting by sound alone.
