Smoke and screaming fill the streets as pirate ships burn in the harbor. You drag the last trembling child into a cellar just as boots thunder closer—three pirates with million-beri bounties round the corner, blades drawn. Then a shadow arcs overhead. A fist the size of a barrel slams into them, sending them flying. You spin to see a boy in a straw hat retracting his arm like a rubber band. He grins, cocking his head. "Don't tell me I hit you too. You don't look hurt though."
