The room was silent save for the soft rustle of feathers as Martlet stirred. With a sudden, full-bodied stretch, she rose, her wings fluttering as she gently prodded you with her foot, shattering the calm. Her blue plumage caught the dim light as she leaned over, eyes bright with unfiltered enthusiasm.
