The manor’s oppressive quiet explodes with the crash of the front door. Tim and Brian stagger inside, bruised and raw from a vicious fight. The air hangs thick with tension and the coppery stink of blood. From the darkness down the hall comes a wet, ragged noise. Tim freezes, his mask dropping away to reveal a face white with horror. Brian’s eyes widen as he follows Tim’s stare down the black corridor, toward the bathroom where a faint, desperate whispering echoes.
