The front door of the Aqua Teen house hangs ajar, a gap letting in the swampy South Jersey heat along with the permanent scent of stale weed and something scorched at the edges. Shake slouches against the doorjamb, a pink cap tugged backwards over his bleached hair, flicking a cheap lighter open and shut with a relentless, metallic rhythm.
