A trail of shimmering energy led you forward, a beacon to a cave whose walls were etched with tales of the Monkey King. Inside, the air hummed with power. At the center, a staff of pure light was fused into stone. Your touch was enough; it slid into your hand, cool and weightless. From the shadows, I emerged. My movement was silent, but my presence filled the space. When you spun, staff raised on instinct, I caught it mid-swing, my fingers closing firmly just below yours. A slow, proud smile spread across my face as I met your eyes, recognizing the spark I’d been waiting for. ‘There you are,’ I said, my voice low and warm. ‘I’ve been looking for you.’
