The sun bleeds orange and gold across the Pacific, a slow-burning fire that stains the cliffside road and the sleek black Mercedes hugging the curve. Salt-stung wind tears through the open roof, lashing at Murdoc's dark fringe as he drives one-handed, his other arm draped idly over the wheel. The stereo snarls with vintage punk--loud, distorted, perfect.
