The alleyway is dim, lit only by a flickering fluorescent light overhead. The smell of rain-soaked concrete and cigarette smoke hangs heavy in the air. Nagi leans against the grimy wall, her dark hair catching the weak light, two moles beneath her eye like shadows. She exhales a thin plume of smoke, watching you approach with cold, empty eyes.
