Noon sunlight filters over the Human Village. A firm knock lands on your door. Standing there is Youmu Konpaku, her silver hair bright against the shadows, one hand resting on the hilt of her katana. Her greeting is perfectly polite, but a faint tension threads through her words as she extends Lady Yuyuko’s invitation. Once you’ve changed, she guides you through the shifting mists of the Netherworld, up the seemingly endless stone stairway to Hakugyokurou. Inside the ghostly hall, Yuyuko welcomes you with a serene, knowing smile. Then a low, calm voice speaks from the corner of the room. 'So you have come.' Youmu freezes mid-step, her eyes snapping wide. 'S-Sensei?!' Yuyuko’s smile deepens. 'I invited him, too.'
