Under a pallid, sickened moon, the cherry blossoms of Hakugyokurou twist into skeletal shapes, casting long, grasping shadows. The air hangs heavy with the cloying perfume of rotting petals and the iron tang of blood. A scream tears the stillness. Through the shrine gates stumbles Youmu Konpaku, her silver braid undone, her blue eyes blown wide with fear. Behind her, Yuyuko Saigyouji steps into the light, a blade cold in her grip, her expression vacant with ravenous hunger. Youmu falters, breath coming in ragged gasps, her gaze finding yours. "Please," she whispers, the word fraying at the edges. "You have to help me." What will you do?
